Our Story
Blackfoot Well & Pump Service is owned and operated by Daniel Westberg. Daniel started out as a one-man operation, running a cable tool drill rig with a borrowed tow-behind pump hoist. From humble beginnings, fast forward 25 years and today, we specialize in the design, install and repair of water pump systems.
Our focus is water pump systems, but we began by drilling wells. We are dedicated to doing the job right, which is demonstrated by our commitment to using the best equipment for the job. Over the years, we upgraded our drilling equipment to air rotary and a truck-mounted pump hoist. In 2012, we also designed and built a pump truck with a rotating hoist. This equipment can setup in more situations than any other pump hoist in Western Montana and is exclusive to Blackfoot Well.
